Not everyone can think outside the box and to develop a unique concept that is a benefit to the entire community. One such innovator is Dr. Pandwe Gibson, Ecotech Visions founder, and leader.
Dr. Gibson has a long history in developing new and innovative solutions to very challenging problems. In her past, Pandwe started a CMO or Charter Management Organization in the New Orleans area. In response to the concerns she had after Hurricane Katrina and in response to the academic issues in schools in New Orleans, she co-founded ReNEW. Starting with just six schools, but they end of the third year there was almost triple that number, with significant student academic improvements.
The Vision of EcoTech Visions
Moving from here work with school systems, Dr. Pandwe Gibson turned her entrepreneurial spirit to the world of green manufacturing and green innovations. With just an idea and a powerful vision for helping small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Miami Gardens area of Florida move into green manufacturing, she began educating leaders in the community.
In a very short period of time, Pandwe Gibson and Ecotech Visions moved from an idea into a reality. The original location and the one after that were smaller and limited in their space, but they provided a starting point for businesses in the area trying to become “green” industries and service providers.
Now, in the new, large, and advanced building, Ecotech Visions is located in the heart of Miami’s Green Corridor. It is a building that is run on green technology, and it offers a full range of services for entrepreneurs and small businesses to get up and running.
Marketed as an incubator and maker space, EcoTech Visions are also a community leader in providing green alternatives, connecting producers to end-users, and supporting innovators throughout the area.
