If you work hard in the kitchen cooking and preparing meals, it does not take long for things to get dirty and grimy. In fact, greasy dirt is one of the most difficult things to clean and for effective results you want the best possible degreaser for your kitchen. Here are some tips for finding the best products.

Baking Soda Mixtures

Common household baking soda is sometimes used as a degreaser for kitchen cleaning. Its alkaline PH makes it an effective cleaner and deodorizer. However, you can add ingredients to baking soda to make it more effective. For example, if you have lemon or orange essential oil products, consider adding them to your baking soda. Use about a cup of water, with a tablespoon of baking soda and add a few drops (about 10) of the citrus oil.

If you do not have citrus oil, you can use the juice of a fresh lemon or lime. Citrus is a natural dirt and grime cutter. Just dip a cleaning cloth in the cleaning solution and wipe off the greasy dirt.

Vinegar

Vinegar is a very good cleaner and disinfectant. Yet, like many natural cleaners, it works better if you add things to it. Consider adding some baking soda and dish soap to vinegar to make a good cleaning agent. Be careful when you mix baking soda and vinegar. Vinegar is acidic, and baking soda is alkaline, and you get a foaming chemical reaction.

Natural Cleaning Products

If you want an exceptional degreaser for kitchen cleaning, consider a pod type natural cleaning product. The pods come with a spray bottle, and you only have to add water. A special formula gets rid of greasy and grimy dirt, and you only have to spray it on and wipe it away. There are no messes or spills from trying to make your own cleaner.
