If you are trying to stay on budget, an artificial wedding bouquet may be the right answer for you. Additionally, this type of bouquet provides you with a lasting keepsake from your big day. Synthetic, high-quality flowers are available in an endless number of options and able to be used for the creation of beautiful arrangements.
Some tips to help you create a stunning artificial bouquet for your wedding are highlighted here.

Consider Shape and Size

Determine the color palette that you would like to use for your wedding and opt for flowers that naturally complement that color. This will help you create a much more natural looking bouquet. Take time to consider what bouquet holder you want to use, as well, since this will be the arrangements foundation.

Use Floral Foam

If the bouquet holder does not come with floral foam, you will need to insert some yourself. You can easily trim the foam with a razor knife if it does not fit inside the selected holder.

Arrange the Stems

Place the main or largest flower in the middle of the holder. If a flower does not have a stem, simply pin it to the foam. Once the main flowers are placed, add accents and greenery around your main selections. Continue adding flowers and accents until the bouquet is at the size and shape that you desire.

Trim the Stems

You need to trim the stems that you are going to use on the outside of the fresh artificial wedding bouquet by approximately one inch prior to inserting them into the foam in order to create a layered look. Continue placing filler flowers and greenery in any bare areas to create a full bouquet. Once the bouquet is completely filled out, it will look as if the flowers have been freshly picked from your garden.

Apply Ribbon and Embellishments

Ribbon is the ideal material for covering the plastic of your bouquet holder. You can wrap the holder, allowing it to disappear completed. You may also want to leave some ribbon to hang down as well as embellishments to create a unique look that is definitely one-of-a-kind. Ribbons can come in multiple colors and textures, so they can look absolutely stunning with any type of wedding bouquet that you may want to have.
